The Scout Post in the Warsaw Uprising of 1944

This 59 page award winning book documents, in great detail, the rapid rise of mail distribution through the sewers of Warsaw during the short lived six week Warsaw Uprising.

Scouts were organized to pick up and distribute mail to and from the "front lines". The system included drop off points, cancellations, censorship as well as the overprinting of German General Government stamps. All cancellations, censor markings, overprint design and the like are illustrated. There is, as well, a rating system for the rarity of various items.
